The case was designed and tested. Only minor changes were necessary for
a second prototype to be approved and pass into full production. Design,
development and bulk production were all undertaken in the UK.
The case needed to be as small and low profile as possible, and to be a comfortable, secure carry for one person for distances of up to one mile. The design process was made even more challenging as no model, mock-up or product was available – only pictures of a first prototype with dimensions.
