Military Aircraft Covers

  

The Fine Group has a proud association with the military aircraft industry and military supplies IPTs. This has resulted in the development of covers and dams for a variety of fixed and rotary wing aircraft, Specifically, we have designed and manufactured covers for Chinooks, Apache, Hawks and Harriers and are always seeking new design challenges within the marketplace. We have also completed orders for many ‘remove before flight’ items from missile tags to aircraft door tags.

  

  

In each case a military aircraft cover such as one for a Helicopter has to be a tailored and bespoke design. When designing the covers from the outset, we take into account the unique usage environment of the aircraft. With this in mind we design our cover solutions to exacting specification to ensure that they perform well throughout their intended service life.

  

As a materials and manufacturing specialist company we seek to use the most relevant and advantageous materials for our projects. Materials specified in the military cover industry include Hypalon, Nylon, heat reflective textiles, technical foams and padding.

  

We maintain a library of NATO Stock Numbers for a wide selection of aircraft, but would generally conduct a site visit to take measurements and survey the precise requirements to enable a fully resolved, bespoke solution to be developed.
