Helicopter Covers & Bungs

  

The Fine Group has an established association with the rotary wing aircraft industry. This has resulted in the development of covers and dams for a wide variety of differing airframe types. Specifically, we have designed and manufactured covers and associated fabric assemblies for Chinooks and Apache.

  

In each case an aircraft cover has to be a bespoke design. When designing from the outset, we take into account desert, artic and the extreme climates likely to be encountered before arriving at a solution. Materials specified include Hypalon, Nylon, heat reflective textiles, technical foams and padding. The feedback we have gained from having our products in demanding service has informed our development process and reinforced our research into emerging materials and manufacturing techniques.

  

  

Our sound knowledge of the manufacturing techniques required and our bespoke approach to the design of covers and bungs ensures that we are able to readily provide a solution, which meets the exacting requirements of the industry.
