Manufacturing

The Fine Group has its own manufacturing facilities in the UK and overseas in China. In this way we are able to offer our clients unbeatable flexibility and cost effectiveness.

Our UK plant specialises in small to medium quantity runs and complex multi-part assemblies using light/medium weight to heavyweight materials – including leather and padded/stiffened composites. UK manufacturing is also utilised for fast turnaround work and for hand finishing and assembly.

Our overseas factory concentrates on medium to large runs, using very lightweight to medium weight materials, multi-part assembly and stitching, together with the welding of complete products and sub-assemblies.

Machinery

The Fine Group has invested heavily in new technology both in the UK and at our overseas factory to offer state-of-the-art solutions to customers seeking bespoke textile engineered products. Our machinery includes:

CAD/CAM computer controlled cutting system for accurate repeatable parts and economic use of materials
Travelling head press and clicking presses for tool cut parts
Computer aided sewing machines that complement operator skill and accuracy - often on complicated multi-part assemblies
Fully programmable computerised sewing machines - reliably giving exact and repeatable stitch patterns
Automatic and manual riveting and eyeleting machines roller presses and welding machinery
